(Footpath 26 and Footpath 28, Great Wakering) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 26 and Footpath 28, Great Wakering in the District of Rochford.

Footpath No. - Description

Footpath 26, Gt Wakering - From the access gate at Cupids Corner to the sea wall at Morrin's Point, approximately 900 metres.

Footpath 28, Gt Wakering - From Morrin's Point to Wakering Stairs for approximately 916 metres.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 01 April 2024 to 01 October 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while construction of sea wall access tracks and repairs to sea wall are undertaken.

Footpath 28 Great Wakering will be unaffected from Wakering Stairs to Havengore Bridge and will remain open. Byway 30 (The Broomway) will be unaffected. Access will need to be either from the north along Footpath 28 from Havengore Bridge or via public access road from Landwick Gates.

No suitable alternative route available.

The Order will come into effect on 01 April 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(High Street, Great Wakering) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in that length of High Street, Great Wakering in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Mercer Avenue to its junction with Whitehall Road a distance of approximately 235m.

"The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The restriction is scheduled to commence on 22nd April 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2360155 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully and manhole surveying works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The Order will come into effect on 28th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Homefields Avenue, South Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Homefields Avenue, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th April 2024 for 54 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN01354632 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains renewal works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via London Road, Romsey Road, Romsey Drive, Romsey Crescent, Malwood Drive, Malwood Road, Homefields Avenue and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Western Road & Norsey Road, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Western Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 135m in a south westerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Norsey Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon from its junction with High Street to its junction with Crown Road a distance of approximately 60m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 16th April 2024 for 32 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001315341 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

Alternative routes are available via

1. High Street, London Road and vice versa (with access only into Western Road).

2. St Andrews Drive, Stock Road, High Street and vice versa (with access only into Norsey Road).

The Order will come into effect on 28th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Daws Heath Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Western Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a north easterly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th April 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWC4GLV6J002 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Western Road, Daws Heath Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 14th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Dukes Farm Road, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dukes Farm Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 15m north east of its junction with Newlands Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction and then from a point approximately 20m south west of its junction with Dukes Farm Close for a distance of approximately 25m in south westerly direction. The closures are scheduled to commence on 1st April 2024 for 15 days (works to be completed in 2 phases), or where stated on a valid permit (NK121SSW0PL-005-179070C -Virgin Media). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Virgin Media.

An alternative route is available via Dukes Farm Road, Bush Hall Road, Stock Road, Newlands Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 14th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ganels Road, Great Burstead and South Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ganels Road, Great Burstead and South Green in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 40m north west of its junction with Passingham Avenue for a distance of approximately 35m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st April 2024 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001309394 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main diversion works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Hickstars Lane, Southend Road, Grange Road and vice versa (with access only into Ganels Road).

The Order will come into effect on 14th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.9) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

3. "The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 14th March 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. 1. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of roads as specified in the schedule. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the District of Rochford as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in those lengths of roads as specified in the schedule.

"The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
