What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam wedi gwneud GORCHYMYW (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) PROS PRO dan Adran 14 (1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd mewn grym o 25/03/2024 ymlaen, yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio'r rhan honno o Ldn Dodd, Gwersyllt, o'i chyffordd orllewinol 3'r gylchfan sy'n uno Stryt yr Hob, Stryd Fawr a Ffordd Glanllyn y tu allan i Ysgol y Gaer, i gyfeiriad dwyreiniol am bellter o 240 metr, er mwyn i Scottish Power / O'Connor Utilities allu gosod cebl foltedd uchel newydd yn y briffordd ar gyfer y datblygiad newydd ar Ldn Dodd, Gwersyllt.

Y ffordd amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan gau'r ffordd hon fydd ar hyd Ffordd Glanllyn, B5425 Ffordd Newydd Llai a Ffordd Rhosrobin, a bydd arwyddion ar y safle i ddangos hyn. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Disgwylir i'r gwaharddiad bara am 10 diwrnod, neu lai os bydd y gwarth wedi'i gwblhau'n gyrrt, ac ni fydd yn para mwy na 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council has made a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 25/03/2024 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Dodds Lane, Gwersyllt from its westerly junction with the roundabout joining Hope Street, High Street and Glan-Llyn Road outside Ysgol y Gaer, in an easterly direction for a distance of 240 meters to enable Scottish Power/ O'Connor Utilities to install a new high voltage cable in the carriageway for the new development on Dodds Lane, Gwersyllt.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Glan-Llyn Road, B5425 Day New Road and Rhosrobin Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 10 days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
