(U51013 Lansdowne Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U51013 Lansdowne Crescent from its junction with U51014 Rogers Hill to its junction with C2294 Lansdowne Road.
Reason: Replacement of damaged street lightning column by Prysmian Cables and Systems.
Exemptions: To permit access on foot only to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Emergency services need to follow the diversion route. Alternative route: Northerly Diversion: C2294 Lansdowne Road, U51014 Lansdowne Walk, U51014 Rogers Hill and vice versa. (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2024
[Prohibition of Waiting on Knight Street and Lambert Road, Worcester]
On 7 March 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: - Knight Street: (Both sides) From its junction with Lambert Road for a distance of 5 metres in both a northerly and southerly direction.
Lambert Road: (Both sides) From its junction with Knight Street for a distance of 6 metres in both an easterly and westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 28 March 2024.

The Order is being made to facilitate an event related to the Midland Automobile Club's Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Footpath CT-604, Clifton on Teme; Footpaths SW-506 and SW-507, Shelsley Walsh; a Permissive route; Footpath SW-508, Shelsley Walsh; C2026 and vice versa.
