Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1: A44 Spetchley Road from its junction with A44 Spetchley Road roundabout to its junction with A4440 County Hall roundabout. Closure 2: A4440 Nunnery Way from its junction with A4440 County Hall roundabout to its junction with A4440 Cattle Market roundabout. Closure 3: A4440 Swinesherd Way (Northbound only) from its junction with A4440 Swinesherd Way roundabout to its junction with A4440 County Hall roundabout. Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC. Order made: To close that part of C2220 Old Road South from its junction with U60013 Pixham Ferry Lane to its junction with U60014 Meadow Close.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by MV Kelly Ltd. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4204 Wichenford, B4204 Kenswick, B4204 Sailors Bank to Kenswick, B4204 Sailors Bank, B4204 Martley Road, C2067 Bell Lane, C2066 Ankerdine Road, C2066 Sledgemore, C2066 Cobblers Corner, C2066 Broadwas and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 15 April 2024.

(U51013 Lansdowne Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U51013 Lansdowne Crescent from its junction with U51014 Rogers Hill to its junction with C2294 Lansdowne Road.

Reason: Replacement of damaged street lightning column by Prysmian Cables and Systems.

Exemptions: To permit access on foot only to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Emergency services need to follow the diversion route. Alternative route: Northerly Diversion: C2294 Lansdowne Road, U51014 Lansdowne Walk, U51014 Rogers Hill and vice versa. Southerly Diversion: U51012 Lansdowne Crescent Lane, U51015 Lansdowne Walk, U51013 Lansdowne Crescent and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of U62401 Otherton Lane from its junction with A44 Bromyard Road for a distance of 190 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Overhead works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2024

[Prohibition of Waiting on Knight Street and Lambert Road, Worcester]

On 7 March 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: - Knight Street: (Both sides) From its junction with Lambert Road for a distance of 5 metres in both a northerly and southerly direction.

Lambert Road: (Both sides) From its junction with Knight Street for a distance of 6 metres in both an easterly and westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 28 March 2024.

Order made : To close Footpath SA-515 Salwarpe from Grid Reference 388351, 261781 to 388428, 261889.

The Order has been made to facilitate resurfacing of the footpath. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken. Alternative route: The alternative route is a signed permissive route.

Proposed Order: To close Footpath CT-603, Clifton on Teme and Footpaths SW-501, SW-503, SW-504, SW-505, SW-509, Shelsley Walsh for their entire lengths.

The Order is being made to facilitate an event related to the Midland Automobile Club's Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Footpath CT-604, Clifton on Teme; Footpaths SW-506 and SW-507, Shelsley Walsh; a Permissive route; Footpath SW-508, Shelsley Walsh; C2026 and vice versa.

The proposed Order will run for 6 months on the following dates

(A443 Main Road, Hallow) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2024

Order made: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A443 Main Road from its junction with Park Lane (Private) to its junction with U64015 Church Lane. Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas. Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months from 6 March 2024. Anticipated duration: 42 days.
