OLDHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL
THE OLDHAM - BUCKSTONES ROAD B6197 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2024

The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffi c Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of Buckstones Road B6197 from Milnrow Road for 15 metres south easterly. Alternative route Southbound- Milnrow Road, Crompton Way, Oldham Road, Heyside, Higginshaw Lane, Shaw Road, Huddersfi eld Road and Ripponden Road Northbound - Milnrow Road, Newhey Road and turn back at the roundabout to approach Buckstones Road to then follow the southbound diversion. The Order is to be made to allow Cadent gas connection works and will be in force for 2 weeks from 2nd April 2024, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
