(C2020 Arley Lane, Upper Arley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2020 Arley Lane
from its junction with U13005 Arley Lane for a distance
of 60 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2020 Arley Lane, C2133 Lion Lane,
A442 Bridgnorth Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
3 days. Commencing: 25 March 2024.
(U40004 Whitlenge Lane, Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U40004
Whitlenge Lane from its junction with C2030 Walton
Road to its junction with A442 Droitwich Road.
Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A442 Droitwich Road, C2031 Rylands
Road, C2030 Walton Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 15 April 2024.
(A456 Birmingham Road (Filter Lane and Central
Reservation only), Kidderminster)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: to close that part of A456 Birmingham
Road (Filter Lane and Central Reservation only) from its
junction with A456 Birmingham Road to its junction
with A456 Birmingham Road (near Hodghill Park) to
prohibit traffic from turning right across the Central
Reservation for the duration of the work.
Reason: Damaged signpost to be replaced in the Central
Reservation area by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Eastbound Diversion: A456 Birmingham Road (Eastbound for 883 metres), A456 Birmingham Road (Westbound). Westbound Diversion:
A456 Birmingham Road (Westbound), A456 Coventry Street roundabout, A456 Birmingham Road (Eastbound) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (21:00 to 05:00). Commencing: 15 April 2024.
(U12605 Hill Grove Crescent, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U12605 Hill Grove Crescent from its junction with A448 Comberton Road to its junction with A449 Chester Road South. Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A448 Comberton Road, A449 Chester Road South and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days between 15 April 2024 and 3 May 2024.
(U12352 Broad Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U12352 Broad Street from its junction with U12345 Horsefair to its junction with U12358 Queen Street.
Reason: New electricity cabling by Western Power Distribution.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U12358 Queen Street, U12361 Larkhill, A451 Stourbridge Road, A451 Horsefair and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 26 March 2024.
(C2193 Gorst Hill, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2193 Gorst Hill from its junction with C2021 Bliss Gate Road to its junction with U10006 Dark Lane.
Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2021 Bliss Gate Road, U10005 Gorst Hill Road, C2193 Gorst Hill and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 25 March 2024.
(B4202 Clows Top, Bayton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4202 Clows Top from its junction with A456 Tenbury Road for a distance of 2900 metres in a northerly direction until the boundary with Shropshire. Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A456 Tenbury Road, A4117 Cleobury Road into Shropshire and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: Phase 1: 4 days between 25 March 2024 and 5 April 2024; Phase 2: 1 day between 6 May 2024 and 28 May 2024.
