What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below to control traffic.
WHERE & WHAT: Tow Path running west of Canford Church/Canford School to west of the B3073 (adjacent Footpath No. 92) - closed to all pedestrians, cyclists and all other vehicles.
WHEN: Phased closures:
• From Monday 1 April to Monday 15 April 2024
• Friday 24 May to Sunday 2 June 2024
• Friday 28 June to Tuesday 3 September 2024
WHY: to facilitate works by Kamm Civil Engineering Ltd on behalf of Cala Homes (Thame) Ltd
PEDESTRIAN DIVERSIONS: Via Footpath No. 92
ACCESS: Full Emergency access will be maintained.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 6 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any inconvenience caused by this Traffic Order.
