High Street (B2200) Ewell Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 20 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of High Street (B2200) Ewell as extends from its junction with (B2200) Spring Street to its junction with (D2441) West Street and (D2082) Church Street. Alternative Route: (B2200) High Street, (B2200) London Road, (A24) Ewell By-pass, and (B2200) Cheam Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate sewer cleaning works for, or on behalf of Lanes Group PLC. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night between the hours of 10pm and 5.30am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.

Hook Road (B284) Epsom Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 20 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the northbound carriageway of Hook Road (B284) Epsom as extends from its junction with (C195) Chase Road to a point in line with the common boundary between No. 65 and No.67 Hook Road. Alternative Route: Chase Road, Temple Road, and Pound Lane. This Order is required to facilitate new water connection works for, or on behalf of Morrison Water Services. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 9 days between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 02 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Kingston Road (Service Road No.431 to No.545) (D2358) Epsom Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 20 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Kingston Road (Service Road No.431 to No.545) (D2358) Epsom as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between No.431 and No.433 Kingston (Service Road) to its junction with (D2410) Tealing Drive; (b) Suspend any One-Way Order made or having effect as if made under Sections 82, 83 and/or 84 of the Act insofar as affects the length of road described in (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: (A240) Kingston Road, (B284) Worcester Park Road, (A240) Kingston Road, (B284) Ruxley Lane, Riverview Road, and Tealing Drive. This Order is required to facilitate water connection works for, or on behalf of Morrison Water Services. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 nights between the hours of 8pm and 5am within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 02 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, via road plates if necessary. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Church Road (D2080) Epsom Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 20 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Church Road (D2080) Epsom as extends from its junction with (D2124) Providence Place and (D2226) Hawthorne Place to its junction with (A24) East Street. Alternative Route: (1) (D2080) Church Road, (A2022) Upper High Street, (A2022) Alexandra Road, (A2022) College Road, Longdown Lane North, (A240) Reigate Road, (A24) Ewell By-pass, (A24) Epsom Road, and East Street; (2) (A24) East Street, (B288) Windmill Lane, (B288) Bridge Road, and (A2022) Alexandra Road; (3) (A24) East Street, (A24) High Street, and (A2022) Upper High Street. This Order is required to facilitate a safety zone for works being carried out on (A24) East Street, these works are for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible, between the hours of 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday only, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 08 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain vehicular access through the closure, and all vehicular traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Chessington Close (D2074) and Poplar Farm Close (D2341) West Ewell Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Chessington Close (D2074) West Ewell; and (b) Poplar Farm Close (D2341) West Ewell. This Order is required to facilitate sewer cleaning works for, or on behalf of Lanes Group PLC. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night between the hours of 10pm and 5.30am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. There is no alternative route for this closure.

Edenfield Gardens (D2141) Worcester Park Temporary Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting, loading, and unloading at any time, by vehicles on both sides of the carriageway in that length of Edenfield Gardens (D2141) Worcester Park from a point in line with the common boundary between No.47 and No.49 Edenfield Gardens and to a point in line with the common boundary between No.65 and No.67 Edenfield Gardens. This Temporary Order is required to facilitate telegraph pole replacement works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which commences on 15 April 2024. This temporary restriction will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and only to such extent as indicated by those traffic signs. Exemptions apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary restrictions are in force. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).

Chessington Road (B284) West Ewell Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) the northwest bound carriageway of Chessington Road (B284) West Ewell as extends from its junction with (B284) Hook Road to its junction with (C164) Chessington Road. Alternative Route: (B284) Ruxley Lane, (A240) Kingston Road, Hook Rise South, (A243) Hook Road, Bridge Road, Moor Lane, and (C164) Chessington Road; and (b) the northwest bound carriageway of Chessington Road (B284) West Ewell from its junction with (B284) Hook Road to its junction with the dedicated southeast bound lane of (B284) Chessington Road. Alternative Route: (B284) Ruxley Lane, (A240) Kingston Road, (A240) Ewell By-pass, (B2200) London Road, (B2200) High Street, (B2200) Spring Street, (B2200) Chessington Road, and (B284) Chessington Road. This Order is required to facilitate traffic signal utility for works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible, between the hours of 8pm and 5am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 15 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
