(LEEDS ROAD, DEIGHTON HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 4) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of bus lane on Leeds Road, Deighton from its junction with the footpath to Brooklands to its junction with Brooklands PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for buses affected by the closure will be available via the adjacent traffic lane.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Sunday, 7th April 2024 only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(UPPER BANK END ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Upper Bank End Road, Holmfirth from a point outside property no. 36 to a point outside property no. 71 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Upper Bank End Road, Cinder Hills Road, Sandy Gate, Ryecroft Lane, Cross Lane, Cross Gate Road, Dunford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 8th April 2024 and remain in force until 12th April 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(COOPER LANE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cooper Lane, Holmfirth from its junction with The Terrace to its junction with Huddersfield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Cooper Lane, Binns Lane, Upperthong Lane, Huddersfield Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 10th April 2024 and remain in force until 16th April 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CHOPPARDS BANK ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Choppards Bank Road, Holmfirth from its junction with Rich Gate to its junction with Dunford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Rich Gate, Washpit New Road, Dunford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 25th March 2024 and remain in force until 5th April 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(WICKINS LANE, UPPERTHONG, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wickins Lane, Upperthong from its junction with Town Gate to its junction with Dean Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Town Gate, Upperthong Lane, Park Head Lane, Greenfield Road, Thick Hollins Road, Dean Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 25th March 2024 and remain in force until 30th April 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH COL/141/50, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Public Footpath COL/141/50, Slaithwaite from its junction with Public Footpath COL/141/20 to its junction with Holme Lane
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Holme Lane, Nabbs Lane, Bank Gate, Ivy Mount, Netherend Road, Public Footpath COL/141/60 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday, 23rd March 2024 and remain in force until 7th April 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).
(HELME LANE, MELTHAM, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Helme Lane, Meltham from a point outside property no. 160 to a point outside property no. 164 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Helme Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 25th March 2024 and remain in force until 29th March 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PAGE STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Page Street, Huddersfield from its junction with Queen Street South to its junction with St Paul’s Street
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative diversionary route available.
Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Wednesday, 28th March 2024 only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CARR LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Carr Lane, Slaithwaite from a point approximately 20 metres either side of railway bridge PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:
Diversion 1 - via Carr Lane, Radcliffe Road, Lower Wellhouse Road, Share Hill Road, Brook Lane, James Street, Scar Lane, Market Street, Yates Lane, Morley Lane, Manchester Road, Back O’Dam, Britannia Road;
Diversion 2 - via Carr Lane, Britannia Road, Back O’Dam, Manchester Road, Morley Lane, Scar Lane, James Street, Brook Lane, Share Hill Road, Lower Wellhouse Road, Radcliffe Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 25th March 2024 and remain in force until 26th March 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH HOL/31/40, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Public Footpath HOL/31/40, Honley from its junction with Woodhead Road to its junction with Smithys Place PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Woodhead Road, Robinson Lane and vice versa.
The closure which came into operation on Wednesday, 19th April 2023 has been further extended with the permission of the Secretary of State for Transport to remain in force for a further period until 8th July 2024 (Any further extension will again require the permission of the Secretary of State).
(STATION STREET/ST PETER’S STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (SUSPENSION OF EXISTING ORDER) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Huddersfield as follows:-
Road Closure
Station Street - from its junction with St Peter’s Street to its junction with Westgate Parking Suspension
St Peter’s Street - from its junction with Station Street to its junction with John William Street One Way Traffic (Reversed)
St Peter’s Street - to proceed in a south westerly direction in that length of St Peter’s Street from its junction with Station Street to its junction with John William Street
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure/ restrictions will be available via St Peter’s Street, John William Street, Westgate and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 25th March 2025 to follow on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice dated 4th March 2024 and will remain in force until 30th April 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH HUD/120/10 & KIR/160/20, FENAY BRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Public Footpaths HUD/120/10 & KIR/160/20, Fenay Bridge from its junction with Spa Bottom to its junction with Fenay Lea Drive PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Spa Bottom, Bridleway KIR/160/20, Bridleway, 118/10, Penistone Road, Fenay Lea Drive and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 27th March 2024 to follow on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice dated 6th March 2024 and will remain in force until 5th September 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).
