NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after seven days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:
Kings Ripton Road, Sapley (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-435
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Kings Ripton Road, Sapley as lies between Jubilee Park and A141.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Kings Ripton Road - B1090 - A141 and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate fire hydrant repairs and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 30 April 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 29 October 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 30 April and 2 May 2024.
Constable Road, St Ives (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-452
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Constable Road, St Ives as lies between Marley Road and Rembrant Way.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Marley Road - Constable Road and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 15 April 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 14 October 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 15 April and 17 April 2024.
Huntingdon Southern Bypass Eastbound A1307 & Huntingdon Southern Bypass
Westbound A1307, Huntingdon Huntingdon Southern Bypass Eastbound A1307 & Huntingdon Southern Bypass Westbound A1307, Godmanchester (TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024-422
Is to impose a 40mph speed limit along Huntingdon Southern Bypass Eastbound A1307 & Huntingdon Southern Bypass Westbound A1307, Huntingdon and Huntingdon Southern Bypass Eastbound A1307 & Huntingdon Southern Bypass Westbound A1307, Godmanchester as lies between Pathfinder Link Road and Harcourt Farm. In this Order -"tip of the nosing" means, as indicated by the markings on the carriageway, the first point where an entry slip road joins, or the last point where an exit slip road leaves, the carriageway of the road; "a length of road" means the A1307

No person shall, during the period starting at 00:00 hours on Sunday 31 March 2024 and ending when the likelihood of danger has been avoided by means other than this Order or 31 March 2026, whichever is the sooner, cause or permit any motor vehicle to be driven at a speed exceeding - 40 miles per hour on a length of road or a slip road. Article 3 applies only during such times and to such extent as is indicated by traffic signs
High Street (B1096), Ramsey (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-470
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street (B1096), Ramsey as lies between the B1040 and Hollow Lane.
The alternative route for vehicles is via B1096 - Muchwood Lane - Stocking Fen Road -B1040 - B1096 and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 2 April 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 1 October 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 2 April and 11 April 2024.
Holme Fen, Holme (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-477
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Holme Fen, Holme as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Hod Fen Drove - Yaxley Road - Station Road -Long Drove - New Long Drove - Holme Fen and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 21 April 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 20 October 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out overnight between 23:00hrs 21 April and 06:00hrs 22 April 2024.
Hemington Lodge Road, Great Gidding (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2024-504
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hemington Lodge Road, Great Gidding as lies between the B660 and Gypsy Lane, Luddington.
The alternative route for vehicles is via B660 - Luddington Road - Luddington, Luddington - Gypsy Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway patching and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 16 April 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 15 October 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 16 April and 20 April 2024.
Low Road, Fenstanton (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2024-506
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Low Road, Fenstanton as lies between Fenstanton Footpath 3 and Fenstanton Footpath 11.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Huntingdon Road - Conington Road (C181) -A1307 - Potton Road - London Road - A1096 and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water meter exchange and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 8 April 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 7 October 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 8 April and 9 April 2024.
Puddock Road, Ramsey Forty Foot (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-467
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Puddock Road, Ramsey Forty Foot as lies between Plough Farm and New Road.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Puddock Road, Warboys - Puddock Hill -Puddock Hill (C116) - Station Road (C116) - Heath Road - A141 - Doddington Road, Chatteris - Forty Foot Bank - Forty Foot Bank, Doddington - Puddock Road, Benwick and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate fire hydrant repairs and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 9 April 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 8 October 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 9 April and 11 April 2024.
Bridge Road, Broughton (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-510
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Bridge Road, Broughton as lies between Dunbury House and Warboys Road.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Bridge Road - A141 - B1040 - Wistow Toll, Wistow - Church Street (C112) - Mill Road - Wistow Road, Broughton - Little Raveley Road - School Road - Bridge Road (C111) and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 April 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 October 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs to 19:00hrs 4 April 2024.

No person shall, during the period starting at 00:00 hours on Sunday 31 March 2024 and ending when the likelihood of danger to public due to flooding risk and to facilitate lane closures to carry out drainage works and associated repairs other than this Order or 30 September 2025, whichever is the sooner, cause or permit any motor vehicle to be driven at a speed exceeding - 40 miles per hour on a length of road or a slip road. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 31 March and 30 April 2024. Article 3 applies only during such times and to such extent as is indicated by traffic signs.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 VARIOUS ROADS, WEST DIVISION (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-419
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads as set out in Schedule 1 below.
Nothing in this Order shall prevent access and egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1.
The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate footway slurry sealing and associated works.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 April 2024 and will continue until these works have finished or on the 30 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.
The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
