What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (WARSTONES ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Warstones Road in both directions between its junctions with Springhill Lane and Stourbridge Road/Penn Road. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 23 March 2024 until 7 April 2024. The diversion route is: Penn Road, Coalway Road and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate Gas Mains Replacement works by Cadent.
