North Circular Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Installation Works

What is happening?

Public Notice: Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The A406 Gla Road (North Circular Road, London Borough Of Brent) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2024

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above-named Traffic Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purpose specified in paragraph 2.

2. The purpose of the Order is to enable new telecoms pole and cabinet installation works on the A406 North Circular Road/Drury Way.

3. The effects of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering:

(1) St Raphael's Way at its junction with A406 North Circular Road;

(2) Drury Way at its junction with the A406 North Circular Road.

The Order will be effective between 2nd April 2024 and 5th April 2024 every night 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, or until the works has been completed. The prohibition will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. The prohibitions will not apply to any vehicle being used for the purposes of those works, or for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes, or anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a person authorised by Transport for London.

5. At such times as the prohibitions are in force an alternative route will be indicated by traffic signs via A406 North Circular Road northbound, A406 unnamed off slip Road, A4088 Neasden Lane North, A4088 Roundabout, A4088, A406 unnamed on slip Road, North Circular Road southbound, Great Central Way and Drury Way back to normal route of travel.
