What is happening?

PETERBOROUGH CITY COUNCIL

The City of Peterborough Tallington Road, Bainton, Peterborough.

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-411

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Tallington Road, Bainton as lies between points 20 metres either side of Bainton Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Tallington Road, B1443 Helpston Rd, King St, West St, Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, A1175 Stamford Rd and vice versa.The proposed Order will come into force on the 25/03/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 24/03/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.

It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 23:00hrs on the 25/03/2024 to 05:00hrs on the 26/03/2024. For further information please contact Chevron on 07711 377005. BR2

The City of Peterborough Norman Road, Eastfield, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024      Ref: 24-414

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Norman Road, Eastfield, as lies between Danes Close and Park Lane. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Flag Fen Rd, Norman Rd, Reeves Way and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 25/03/2024 and will continue until the telecoms installation works have been completed or until the 24/03/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.

The City of Peterborough Wayford Close Temporary Prohibition of Through

Traffic Order 2024                                         Ref: 24-404

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/ cycleway known as Wayford Close as lies between Wayford Close and Upton Close. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycleway. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is: Upton Close, Harewood Gardens, Melford Close, The Leys, Thorpe Rd, Apsley Way and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on 01 April 2024 and will continue until the Gas Mains Replacement Works have been completed or until the 30 September 2024, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between 01 April 2024 and 12 April 2024. For further information please contact MLP Traffic on 0330 0169696. FP1

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Glinton Road, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of Helpston Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Glinton Rd, Maxey Rd, High St (Maxey), Maxey Rd, A15, Helpston Rd and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 30/03/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 29/03/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.

It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight from 23:00hrs on the 30/03/2024 to 09:00hrs on the 31/03/2024. BR1

The City of Peterborough Spinney Walk, Longthorpe.

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-436

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/ cycle path known as Spinney Walk, Longthorpe. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is via: Yew Tree Walk, Nathan Close, Harewood Gardens and vice versa . The proposed Order will come into operation on the 01/04/2024 and will continue until the gas mains replacement works have been completed or until the 30/09/2024, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between the 01/04/2024 and the 14/04/2024. For further information please contact Core Highways on 0330 0433030. FP1

The City of Peterborough King Street, Lolham, Maxey, Peterborough.

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-440

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as King Street, Lolham, Maxey as lies between points 20 metres either side of Lolham Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1443 King St, West St, Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, Maxey Rd, High St and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 02/04/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing works have been completed or until the 01/04/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
