NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the length of Zuc69 From 50 Church Road Uc72 To Uc67 Wood End Road Wootton.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate carriageway repairs and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 08:00 to 18:00 hours from 2nd April 2024 to 11th April 2024
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Wood End Road, Keeley Lane, Hall End Road.
The reverse route applies.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Church Lane Sharnbrook from High Street to Lodge Road.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate coring and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 09:00 to 15:30 hours from 2nd April 2024 to 3rd April 2024
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Lodge Road, Colworth Road, High Street.
The reverse route applies.

Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Bushmead Road Staploe from Gypsy Lane for 400m east. This temporary road closure is required to replace the existing 12” PVCU water main and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours 2nd April 2024 to 10th May 2024

BEDFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL DRAFT RIGHTS OF WAY
IMPROVEMENT PLAN 2024 – 2029 We are seeking public views and comment on the draft RoWIP 2024 – 2029, in order that it meets the current and future needs of the people living and working in the Borough of Bedford and those many visitors which enjoy our countryside.
Once the plan is agreed and published it will replace the Bedford Rights of Way Improvement Plan 2018 -2023.
The final plan will guide the work of Bedford Borough Council from 2024 – 2029 in managing, improving and marketing the public rights of way network in the Borough.
An essential part of the process is making an assessment of your views. A draft copy of the ROWIP 2024 – 2029 can be viewed on our website: https://www.bedford.gov.uk/your-council/have-your-say/consultations. A copy of the draft plan can be seen free of charge at Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford by appointment from 10am to 4pm on Weekdays (Bank and Public Holidays excepted) and we would appreciate any comments you may wish to make.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
BEDFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL
(GREAT DENHAM: PART OF FOOTPATH NO 1)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot along part of the length of public Footpath No 1, Great Denham which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0195 4898 (Map point A) to OS GR TL 0202 4880 (Map point B).
This temporary closure is required for construction of a new housing development.
The closure is expected to take place from Thursday 4th April 2024 for up to six months.
The alternative route for footpath users while the closure is in operation will be to cross over to the adjacent footpath. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4th April 2024 for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out on or near to the footpath have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 14th March 2024 Bedford Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which is detailed below:Effect of the Order:
1. To introduce a ‘No waiting at any time’ restriction (double yellow lines) on the following length of road:
A Dunham Close, Bedford
(i) Around the turning head, extending from a point on its north-western kerb, approx. 37 metres south-west of the south-western side of the north-eastern arm of Dunham Close, in an anti-clockwise direction to a point approx. 51 metres south-west of the south-western side of the north-eastern arm of Dunham Close.
Date of Operation This Order will come into force on 18th March 2024 or as soon as practicable after this date.
