LEEDS CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1) (Ring Road Seacroft, Seacroft, Leeds) (Temporary Speed Reduction) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (works to repair and replace lightwells of Hansby Gate Subway) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: A temporary speed reduction will be in place along Ring Road Seacroft, Seacroft, Leeds in the Killingbeck & Seacroft ward between its junctions with York Road and Ring Road Crossgates. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: is not applicable as traffic will be maintained. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 1st April 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Saturday11th May 2024. The closure will be in place between 20:00 and 06:00 hrs on each day. G Moate. Ref: RC304900

(Gledhow Park Drive, Chapeltownleeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for gas main replacement.) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Gledhow Park Drive, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between its junctions with Montreal Avenue and 49 Gledhow Park Drive. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Montreal Avenue and King George Avenue. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 25th March 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Harrison Crescent, Gipton, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for Northern Gas Network works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Harrison Crescent, Gipton, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward between its junctions with York Road and Wykebeck Valley Road. It is also considered necessary to suspend One-Way on Harrison Crescent, allowing access to properties from Wykebeck Valley Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: York Road, Wykebeck Valley Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 25th March 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Broom Cross, Belle Isle, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure for gas mains replacement) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Broom Cross, Belle Isle, Leeds in the Middleton Park Ward between its junctions with Middleton Road and Broom Crescent. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Middleton Road, Orion Drive, Orion Crescent, Orion View, Broom Crescent and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 1st April 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 12th April 2024. The closure will be in place 24 hrs on each day. M Green. Ref: RC304032.

(Elland Road, Beeston, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) to facilitate M621 J2 improvement works, Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be: (1) The closure of Elland Road, Beeston from outside Holbeck Community Centre to Crosby Street; (2) The closure of the Cycle Path on Elland Road, Beeston outside Holbeck Community Centre to Crosby Street; (3) The suspension of the one-way system on Elland Road, Beeston from its junction with Tilbury Avenue to Crosby Road, to allow for two-way traffic; A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available: For (1) via: Tilbury Road, Ingram Road, Brown Lane East, Crosby Road; For (2) Cyclists will be asked to divert onto the main carriageway from outside Holbeck Community Centre to Crosby Street; Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Sunday 7th April 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Saturday 18th May 2024. The restrictions will not be in place on dates during football related fixtures at Elland Road Stadium. A Coultate. Ref: RC305373.

(Speed Limit) (No.10) Order 2024

Leeds City Council proposes to make the above Order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce: 1. 20 MPH Speed Limit on: the entire lengths of the following roads unless otherwise stated. Audby Court, Audby Lane, Barrow Way, Boston Road – From its junction with High Street to a point 10 metres south of its junction with Micklethwaite Grove. Bridle Way, Canterbury Close, Colchester Road, Devonshire Drive, Durham Close, Ezart Avenue, Grange Avenue, Greenacres Court, Hallfield Lane – From its junction with Walton Road in a north easterly direction for a distance of 153 metres. High Street, Ingbarrow Gate, Leconfield Drive. Linton Road – From its junction with A661 to its junction with Sicklinghall Road. Linton Lane – From its junction with Linton Road to a point 10 metres south of its junction with Linton Hills Road. Lodge Lane – From its junction with A661 High Street in a westerly direction for a distance of 235 metres. Ludlow Croft, Micklethwaite Grove, Micklethwaite Mews, Micklethwaite View, Montagu Crescent, Noble Crescent, Northfields, Pentagon Way, Richmond Drive, Rochester Row, Rudgate Green, Rudgate Mews, Rudgate Park, Sandbeck Way – From its junction with Audby Lane in a easterly direction for a distance of 160 metres. Sicklinghall Road – From its junction with Linton Road in a South westerly direction for a distance of 187 metres. Templars Croft, The Beaches. Walton Road – From its junction with Privas Way to its junction with Hallfield Lane. Wentworth Street, Windsor Lane and Woodland Close. 2. 30 MPH Speed Limit on: Linton Lane – From a point 10 metres south of its junction with Linton Hills Road in a southerly direction for 836 metres. Full details of the proposals together with plans showing the affected lengths of highway and statement of reasons for making the Order are available on request by e-mailing the address below.
