ROTHERHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF CARR LANE THRYBERGH ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Carr Lane from its junction with A630 Doncaster Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction from Monday  23rd. March until Friday 29th. March 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via Doncaster Road, Kilnhurst Road and vice versa. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Gas valve maintenance).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF BRINSWORTH LANE AND PART OF UN-ADOPTED SHOP ACCESS SERVICE ROAD SERVING 2 TO 6A BRINSWORTH LANE AND 337 TO 381 BRINSWORTH ROAD BRINSWORTH ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice from Monday 25th March until Friday 5th April 2024.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the five parts of road (closed in one direction for shop frontage parking improvements).

SCHEDULE

(i) Brinsworth Lane in any direction other than a westerly direction from its junction with Poplar Road to its junction with Bonet Lane/Brinsworth Road (the alternative route is via Bonet Lane, A631 Bawtry Road and Brinsworth Lane)

(ii) Un-adopted access road off Brinsworth Lane at its junction with Brinsworth Lane (the alternative is via access off Brinsworth Road)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTIONS 14(1) AND 14(7)
PART OF SANDYGATE AND PART OF HIGH STREET WATH UPON DEARNE ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY ORDER)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to:-

1. Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Sandygate, Wath Upon Dearne from its junction with New Road for a distance of approximately 260m in a north westerly direction towards High Street on Sunday 24th March 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via High Street and vice versa.

2. Temporarily suspend the One Way Order relating to that part of High Street, Wath Upon Dearne from a point approximately 15m west of the western kerb line of Moor Road to its junction with Sandygate to allow safe access and egress for vehicles requiring access to Sandygate on Sunday 24th. March 2024.

The reason for the prohibition and suspension of the order is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Telegraph Pole replacement).

PART OF SWINSTON HILL ROAD DINNINGTON SHEFFIELD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Swinston Hill Road, Dinnington from the eastern kerb line of Stoneleigh Close to the western kerbline of Rowernfields on Wednesday 3rd. April and Thursday 4th. April 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Swinton Hill Road, Lidgett Lane, Nursery Road, Woodsetts Road, Dinnington Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF THORNCLIFFE CLOSE AUGHTON SHEFFIELD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Thorncliffe Close from a point approximately 20m south of its junction with Swallow Wood Road for distances of 20m both south and west on Tuesday 2nd. April 2024.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac, access will be maintained for residents.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Replacement of manhole cover and frame).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF ALDWARKE ROAD AND PART OF BARBERS AVENUE PARKGATE ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The prohibition from proceeding along the part of Aldwarke Road will be on Saturday 30th. March 2024. The prohibition from proceeding along the part of Barbers Avenue will be from Tuesday 2nd. April until Tuesday 9th. April 2024.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Craneage work and new sewer connection).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Aldwarke Road in any direction other than a northerly direction between its junction with  Great Eastern Way/Barbers Avenue roundabout and the southern kerb line of Craven Street (the alternative route will be via Cross Street, Lloyd Street, Broad Street and A6123 Great Eastern Way).

(ii)   Barbers Avenue from its junction with Great Eastern Way/Barbers Avenue roundabout to the southern kerb line of Durham Way (the alternative route will be via A6123 Great Eastern Way, A633 Broad Street, A633 Rawmarsh Hill, A633 High Street, Bellows Road, Green Lane and vice versa).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Symonds Avenue from its junction with Kay Crescent to its junction with Haugh Road from Tuesday 7th. May until Tuesday 11th. June 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Haugh Road, Green Rise, Harding Avenue and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of new sewer).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Penny Piece Lane between its junction with Greenlands Rise and its junction with Penny Piece Place from Tuesday 2nd. April until Thursday 4th. April 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Main Street, Hillside, B6060 Nursery Road, B6060 New Road, Laughton Road, Church Lane, B6060 Littlefield Road, B6060 Undergate Road, B6060 Outgang Lane, Monksbridge Road roundabout, Monksbridge Road, Todwick Road, Common Road, Cramfit Road and Vice Versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (New water connection).

PART OF WILFRED STREET ROTHERHAM TOWN CENTRE
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY ORDER)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to:-

1.  Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Wilfred Street from its junction with Westgate for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction from Tuesday 2nd. April until Saturday 27th. April 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via the Wilfred Street junction with Moorgate.

2.  Temporarily suspend the One Way Order relating to Wilfred Street to allow limited access to business premises located on Wilfred Street from Tuesday 2nd. April until Saturday 27th. April 2024.

The reason for the prohibition and suspension is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Resurfacing works along Westgate).

PART OF WILLIAM STREET WATH UPON DEARNE ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of William Street, Wath Upon Dearne from its junction with A633 Sandygate for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly direction between Saturday 30th. March and Sunday 14th. April 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via A633 Sandygate, Burman Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Electrical cabling works on A633 Sandygate).
