What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
B1232 BEVERLEY ROAD, WILLERBY
Temporary Traffic Regulation Order for the closure of the following: B1232 Beverley Road, Willerby on both sides of
the carriageway from the junction with A164 Beverley Road, Willerby extending approximately 50 metres east commencing 15 April 2024 for the purposes of carriage surfacing post roundabout removal.
It is estimated that the works will be completed within five days (19 April 2024) and the working hours are limited
to 20.00 hours until 06.00 hours.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via:
For Willerby local traffic and deliveries to and from the A63 Humber Bridge approach:
Boothferry Road, Beverley Road, Anlaby, Gorton Road, Kingston Road, Willerby Square roundabout to B1232
Beverley Road and return and vice versa.
For local traffic and deliveries to and from the A63 Humber Bridge to rejoin the A164 Skidby Roundabout/Bypass:
Boothferry Road, Beverley Road, Anlaby, Gorton Road, Anlaby, Kingston Road, Willerby Road, Calvert Road, Priory Road, Thwaite Street, South Street, Baynard Avenue, West End Road, Harland Way, Skidby Roundabout and return.
The road will be closed to all traffic, but access will be maintained at all times for residents, emergency services and
pedestrians.
The diversion routes will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be
maintained for emergency vehicles.
