Suffolk, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures due to Works
What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4434 CASTLE ROAD, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4434 Castle Road, Ipswich from no. 20 for 20 metres eastbound to facilitate repairs to water pipe. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Ravensfield Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 20/03/2024 -22/03/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to TBF Traffic. Tel: (01449) 490865.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A143 HAVERHILL ROAD AND BURY ROAD, STRADISHALL
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
• the A143 Haverhill Road, Stradishall
• the A143 Bury Road, Stradishall from Haverhill Road to Mill Lane.
This is to facilitate surface dressing patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A143, the A1077, the A1017, the A1092, the A134, the A143 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 20/03/2024 - 23/03/2024 from 7pm - 5am with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C734 BURES ROAD, NAYLAND WITH WISSINGTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C734 Bures Road, Nayland with Wissington from Pound House to Wissington House to facilitate pole replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bures Road, the road from Cricket Hill via the 8600 to Nayland. Clicket Hill. Nayland Road, Church Square, the B1058, the A134, Wiston Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 20/03/2024 from 8am - 6pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
