What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - MINCHENS LANE & MINCHENS LANE (PART), BRAMLEY, BASINGSTOKE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD(S) TO BE CLOSED: that part of Minchens Lane & Minchens Lane (Part) between a point approximately 250 Metres North of its junction with Burlington Way and a point approximately 450 Metres South of its junction with Clappers Farm Road.

ACCESS ONLY ROAD(S):

1. Minchens Lane between its junction with The Street and a point approximately 250 Metres North of its junction with Burlington Way.

2. Barefoot Lane between its junction with Bramley Lane and its junction with Minchens Lane.

3. Minchens Lane (Part) between a point approximately 450 Metres South of its junction with Clappers Farm Road and its junction with Bramley Road.

4. Bramley Road between its junction with Minchens Lane (Part) and its junction with Ash Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ash Lane, Silchester Road, The Street, Bramley Lane

DURATION OF ORDER: from 18th March 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 26 days, with works expected to take place between the hours 08:00 - 17:00 and the closure in place 24 hours per day).

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
