Lambley Main Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Sewer Connection Works
What is happening?
Northumberland County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) U7006 Lambley Main Road Through Village, Lambley (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7006 Lambley Main Road Through Village from a property called West View to a property called Church Gates for a length of 17 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 25th March 2024 until the 12th April 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 25th March 2024 until 29th March 2024 between the hours of 08:30 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 12th April 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C323, A689 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Esh Construction to carry out sewer connection works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
