The works will take place on a maximum number of three

PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND
INTRODUCTION OF TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED LIMIT

THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED
BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS)

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or
waiting in those lengths of the A19 Doncaster Road at Toll
Bar/Owston in the City of Doncaster District and introduce a
temporary 40MPH speed limit as described in the Schedule
to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the said
Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for the provision of specialist
carriageway surface dressing and subsequent road markings
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Bentley Moor Lane, Bentley Moor
Lane UU, Station Road, Askern Road and vice versa.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions
of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Any contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed
by this Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being
issued and the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

completed, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
Location
1) Close the A19 Doncaster Road, Toll Bar from its junction
with Tiltshills Lane for a distance of 350 meters in a northerly
direction.
2) Close the A19 Doncaster Road, Owston from a point 350
meters north of the junction with Tiltshills Lane to its junction
with (B1220) Askern Road, Carcroft.
3) Introduce a temporary 40 mph speed limit on the A19
Doncaster Road, Toll Bar from a point 50 meters south of its
junction with Tiltshills Lane in a northerly direction continuing
on the A19 Doncaster Road, Owston for a distance of
2385 meters.
Dates and Times
On or after 07:00hrs 1st April 2024 until 19:00hrs 31st A
ugust 2024.
The works will take place on a maximum number of five
occasions between the dates shown above with each
occasion lasting no longer than three days. The road will
reopen each evening. The works will be undertaken in phases
and the reduced speed limit will only be in force during those
occasions within periods specified in the order and when the
appropriate speed limit signs are displayed.
RUSHYMOOR ROAD HAYWOOD DONCASTER

Notice is hereby given that on the 20th day of March 2024 the
City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the
provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the
4th day of April 2024 will be to revoke the follow item from
Schedule 4.16 waiting limited to 3 hours with return prohibited
within 4 hours Monday to Saturday 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and
unloading goods and in connection with building industrial or
demolition operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic,
the maintenance of the roads and the services therein in
pursuance of statutory powers or duties, for the collection
and delivery of postal packets or if it is a vehicle being
operated by or on behalf of the South Yorkshire Safety
Camera Partnerships while carrying out roadside monitoring
or enforcement operations. The usual exceptions for disabled
persons vehicles will also apply.
