THE A38 TRUNK ROAD (CARKEEL TO SALTASH)
(30 MPH AND 50 MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2024
Notice is given that National Highways Limited (a) has made this Order on 18 March 2024 under section 84(1) (a) and (2) of, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A38 Trunk Road in Cornwall.
The effect of the Order would be to impose a 50 mph speed limit on the A38 eastbound and westbound between Carkeel Roundabout and South Pill Junction and a 30 mph speed limit eastbound and westbound between South Pill Junction and the eastern edge of the Saltash Tunnel.
This order revokes The A38 Trunk Road (Saltash, Cornwall) (Restriction and Derestriction) Order 2004.
A copy of the Order, a plan, and a statement of National Highways reasons for making the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at Saltash Town Council, The Guild Hall, Lower Fore Street, Saltash, Cornwall PL12 6JX and Saltash Library, Callington Road, Saltash, Cornwall PL12 6DX.
