Repton Road - Temporary Road Closure For Surface Dressing Work

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE B5008 REPTON ROAD, WILLINGTON

WHEN: 01 April to 30 September 2024 for twenty individual days (09:00 to 17:00).

WHERE: B5008 Repton Road, Willington between its Jct. with A5132 The Castle Way for an approx. distance of 800m south.

REASON: To facilitate surface dressing work.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A5132 Twyford Rd, Barrow Ln, A514 Swarkestone Causeway, unnamed section of C241 from Main Street Ingleby to A514 Swarkestone Bridge, Main Street, Ingleby Ln, Milton Rd, Brook End, B5008 Willington Rd and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
