Notice of Variation given under sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 of On-Street Parking Permit Charges in the Tendring District Area (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Order 2019 Schedule 4 Permit and Ticket Parking Charges
Notice is hereby given that the Colchester City Council as the lead authority for The North Essex Parking Partnership, itself acting as agents for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends, not less than twenty one days from the date of this notice, to vary the above Order relating to fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 8th April 2024 The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees for On-Street Parking, Exemptions and Permits - all other fees and charges in the Order will continue at their existing tariffs. Existing and proposed charges are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice

(Colchester Road, Wix) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Wix in the District of Tendring, from its junction with A120 to its junction with Clacton Road a distance of approximately 845m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th April 2024 for 77 days (works to be completed in phases not whole length closed for whole period), or where stated on a valid permit (A210102920121 - Murphy Power Distribution Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable installation works are undertaken by Murphy Power Distribution Ltd. An alternative route is available via Honeypot Lane, Tendring Road, Stones Green Road, Heath Road, Mistley Road, Clacton Road, Horsley Cross Roundabout, A120 and vice versa or Clacton Road, Wix Road, Colchester Road, Honeypot Lane and vice versa depending on which part of Colchester Road is closed.
The Order will come into effect on 22nd March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(The Street, Ramsey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Ramsey in the District of Tendring, from both junctions with Main Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th March 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA75449185 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Main Road, A120 J B1352 Roundabout, A120, Wix Road, The Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 8th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
