SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(B749 Monktonhill Road & Craigend Road, Troon)
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
On 14th March 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.
Temporary Road Closure – B749 Monktonhill Road & Craigend Road, Troon, for 1400m.
The Order commences on 01 April 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 01 April 2024 at 08:00 until 22 April 2024 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Access for residents and deliveries will be maintained via diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via Southwood Road in both directions.

(B7023, Maybole) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
On 14th March 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.
Temporary Road Closure – B7023, Maybole, for 1900m - from Maybole Cemetery to C58.
The Order commences on 01 April 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 01 April 2024 at 08:00 until 19 April 2024 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Access for residents and deliveries will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.
An alternative route will be signed via travel along the C58 and continue onto B7045, travel onto the junction of B742, turn left and travel the B742 continuing onto the B77 to the junction of the B7023 in Maybole, turn left and travel onto closure & vice versa.
