What is happening?

Hysbysir Drwy Hyn Bod Cyngor Sir Fynwy, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984: 
1.  Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 20fed Mawrth 2024 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd i’r gwaith cael ei gwblhau rhwng 20fed Mawrth 2024 a’r 22ain Mawrth 2024, gan weithredu rhwng 08:00 a 17:00. 
2.  Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol er mwyn i waith cynnal a chadw trosbont Asiantaeth Cefnffyrdd De Cymru gael ei wneud mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau. 
3.  Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o’r C29.9 Stryd Jingle, Llanwarw, Sir Fynwy, o'r gyffordd â Heol Llanfihangel Troddi am ~0.50km.  4.  Roedd yna lwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn:-Heol Llanfihangel Troddi, Heol R42 o Dingestow i Lanfihangel Troddi, Heol Bryngwyn, Stryd Jingle ac i’r gwrthwyneb. 
5.  Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro C29.9 Stryd Jingle, Llanwarw, Sir Fynwy, Sir Fynwy, 2024. 
6.  Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd..

Monmouthshire County Council Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice Section 14 - Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  Monmouthshire County Council  (C29.9 Jingle Street, Wonastow, Monmouthshire)  Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice 2024
Notice Is Hereby Given That Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 
1.  The Order came into operation on the 20th March 2024 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 20th March 2024 and 22nd March 2024, operating between 08:00 – 17:00. 
2.  The order was necessary for SWTRA overbridge maintenance works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure. 
3.  The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of C29.9 Jingle Street, Wonastow, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Mitchel Troy Road for ~0.50km. 
4.  A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:.Mitchel Troy Road, R42 Road from Dingestow to Mitchel Troy Road, Bryngwyn Road, Jingle Street and vice versa. 
5.  This order may be cited as the C29.9 Jingle Street, Wonastow, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024 
6.  By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
