PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN CROYDON

The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No. 4) Order 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 11 March 2024 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

a) To introduce "at any time" double yellow line waiting restrictions In the lengths of streets specified In the Schedule 1 to this Notice.

b) To extend existing single yellow line restrictions in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

c) To update the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new arrangements as they exist on site.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 18 March 2024, and of all associated Orders can be inspected by appointment with the Parking Design Team from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA (telephone 020 8726 6000 and ask for Parking Design).

4. Alternatively, copies of the Orders can be requested via email or post from the Parking Design Team. Email: parking.design@croydon.gov. uk. Postal address: Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1 EA.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1

(Introducing double yellow line waiting restrictions "at any time") Alfriston Avenue, Croydon

The south-west side, for 10 metres either side of its junction with Peppermint.

Coldharbour Road, Croydon

The south-west side, from the end of the red route parking bay north­eastwards for 12 metres, extending across the entrance to Idlewild Mews.

Cranleigh Gardens, South Croydon

Both sides, from its junction with Onslow Gardens to the end of the grass verge adjacent to the flank wall of No.17 Onslow Gardens.

Gibson's Hill, Norbury

The south-east side, either side of its junction with Links Gardens for 10 metres.

Headcorn Road, Thornton Heath

Both sides, from its junction with Silverleigh Road north-eastwards for 10 metres.

Limpsfield Road, South Croydon

The south-west side, extending the double yellow lines at the junction with Village Way to meet the double yellow lines at the junction with Marshall Close.

Links Gardens, Norbury

Both sides, from its junction with Gibson's Hill south-eastwards for 10 metres. Love Lane, South Norwood

The north-western extremity of the road, from its junction with Waverley Road, across the barrier giving access to footpath 662.

Old Barn Lane, Kenley

The north side, extending the existing double yellow lines at the junction with Godstone Road westwards by 10 metres.

Onslow Gardens, South Croydon

The south-west side, extending either side of its junction with Cranleigh Gardens to the ends of the grass verges outside Nos. 17 and 19 Onslow Gardens.

Pampisford Road, South Croydon

The west side, either side of its junction with St Ann's Way for 10 metres. Peppermint Close, Croydon

Both sides, from its junction with Alfriston Avenue south-westwards for 10 metres.

Priory Gardens, South Norwood

Both sides, from its junction with Tennison Road north-eastwards for 10 metres.

Selsdon Avenue, South Croydon

* The northern turning area, both sides, extending from the northern end of the road southwards for 8 metres.

* The southern turning area, both sides, extending from the southern end of the road northwards for 7.5 metres.

The north-east side, either side of its junction with Headcorn Road for 10 metres.

Both sides from its junction with Woodcote Grove Road westwards for 16 metres.

* The north side, from its junction with Woodcote Grove Road eastwards for 15 metres.

* The south side, from its junction with Woodcote Grove Road eastwards for 14.5 metres.

Tollers Lane, Coulsdon

The south-east side, extending the double yellow lines at the junction with Coulsdon Road to meet the existing double yellow lines adjacent to Lacy Lodge. Warwick Road, Coulsdon

Both sides, from its junction with Woodcote Grove Road westwards for 16.5 metres.

Waverley Road, South Norwood

The north-west side, from its junction with Love Lane south-westwards for 5.5 metres.

The south-west side, extending the single yellow line at the junction with Mitchley Hill (operating from 8am-6pm, Mon-Sat) to meet the double yellow lines at the junction with Marshall Close.

(b) To adjust existing restrictions to accommodate the new or amended arrangements where necessary.

(c) To amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 18 March 2024 and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, by appointment with the Parking Design Team, at Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 52 Beverley Road, Whyteleafe, No. 112 Church Road, Upper Norwood, Nos. 13,15, 29 and 47 Colliers Water Lane, Thornton Heath, No. 35 Ecclesbourne Road, Thornton Heath, No. 42 Elmside, Fieldway, New Addington, No. 10 Ena Road, Norbury, No. 62 Lucerne Road, Thornton Heath, No. 23 Mowbray Road, Upper Norwood, No. 32 Nova Road, Croydon, No. 31 Swallowdale, South Croydon, No. 47 Upwood Road, Norbury, and No. 148 Wentworth Way, South Croydon.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.
