THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL

(CANNIESBURN TOLL ROUNDABOUT AND NORTHWESTBOUND CARRIAGEWAY OF MARYHILL ROAD, BEARSDEN)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

On the 12 March 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works) on the sections of roads detailed in the Schedule below, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.

This Order will operate from 06:00 hours on Monday, 18 March until 18.00 hours on Monday, 22 April 2024.

Alternative Route

Alternative routes will be by way of the A81 Milngavie Road, Roman Road, the A809 Drymen Road, and Canniesburn Toll Roundabout.

1. Canniesburn Toll Roundabout between its junctions with the A739 Switchback Road (Northbound and Southbound), Bearsden.

2. North-westbound carriageway of Maryhill Road between its junctions with the A81 Milngavie Road and Canniesburn Toll Roundabout, Bearsden.
