TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC000137873071:
The City of Manchester (Wilmslow Road, Fallowfield Ward) (Temporary Closure of Bus Lane) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any bus, taxi or pedal cycle from proceeding at any time in the following length of bus lane: Wilmslow Road from its junction with Grangethorp Road to its junction with Brighton Grove.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate the calibration of speed camera.
It is expected that the works will be in progress on the 19th March 2024. The order shall come into operation on 19th March 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
