What is happening?

THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL

HOTHAM ROAD NORTH (PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along: Hotham Road North, from the junction of Bricknell Avenue for approximately 25 metres, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the installation of new telecommunications.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 3rd April 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am to 4.30pm on 3rd April 2024.
