What is happening?

OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Swinbrook, street through village

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 25/03/2024

Coming into force:08/04/2024

This Order is being introduced because of drainage works which are anticipated to be completed on 17 April 2024.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of the street outside The Old Farm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via the signed diversion route.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Eynsham, Acre End Street

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 25/03/2024

Coming into force: 01/04/2024

This Order is being introduced because of roof repairs involving scaffolding which is anticipated to be completed on 12 April 2024.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of Acre End Street outside The Jolly Sportsman Public House. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic is via Mill Street, Spareacre Lane, Witney Road, Acre End Street.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Wilcote, street through village

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 11/03/2024

Coming into force: 18/03/2024

This Order is being introduced because of electrical supply connection works which are anticipated to be completed on 31 March 2024.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of road west of Wilcote Road towards Ramsden Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic is via Wilcote Road - Boddington Lane -A4095 - Park Road - New Yatt Road - New Yatt Lane - Ramsden Lane and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
