What is happening?

SOUTHEND-ON-SEA CITY COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING, UNLOADING) (TTO 2246) ORDER 2024

(RICHMOND STREET, DARLINGHURST GROVE & GLENMORE STREET)

Notice is given that the Southend-on-Sea City Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made the above Order. The effect of the Order will be as follows:

1. Tree Fella Ltd. will be carrying out tree maintenance works at various locations.

2. The effect of the Order will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic, parking, waiting, loading and unloading; all locations effected by the proposed works are listed in Table 1 to this notice; diversions will be signed as specified in Table 1.

3. The Order and prohibitions will come into effect on 13th March 2024 works are expected to be complete on 27th March 2024; however, this Order may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier and will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.

4. Access for emergency vehicles, vehicles being used in connection with the works, will be maintained during the closure.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.
