What is happening?
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
HASTINGS ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be
to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or
proceeding on that part of Hastings Road extending from number
70 Hastings Road and continuing to a point outside 83 Hastings Road.
The Order will come into effect at 18.00 hours on Monday 18th March
2024 and is required to enable repair works to a manhole cover and frame
to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the
said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the
works will be completed by 06.00 hours on Tuesday 19th March 2024.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police
constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory
undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to
have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said
works;
(d) local vehicular access to Hastings Road.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the
Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal
of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
MORNINGSIDE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order
will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering
or proceeding on Morningside from outside property number 1 and
continuing to outside property number 35.
The Order will come into effect at 00.01 hours on Monday 18th March
2024 and is required to facilitate the installation of new water connections
on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the
said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the
works would be completed by Thursday 28th March 2024.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police
constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory
undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to
have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said
works;
(d) local vehicular access to Morningside.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the
Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal
of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
CHURCH STREET, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would
be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering
or proceeding on Street from the junction with Leicester Causeway to
Harnall Lane West.
The Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on Monday 18th March
2024 and is required to safely install a boundary box on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the
said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the
works will be completed by 18:00 hours on Wednesday 20th March 2024.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police
constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory
undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to
have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said
works;
(d) local vehicular access to Church Street.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order
would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering
or proceeding on Coniston Road from its junction with Aston Road to its
junction with Earlsdon Avenue North.
The Order would come into effect at 00.01 hours on Monday 25th March
2024 and is required to facilitate the installation of a new water connection
on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the
said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the
works would be completed by Tuesday 26th March 2024.
The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police

ELD ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order
would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering
or proceeding on Eld Road between its junctions with Station Street East
and St Elizabeths Road.
The Order would come into effect from 08:00 hours on Tuesday 26th
March 2024 and is required to enable repair works to a communications
pipe to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the
said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the
works will be completed by 18:00 hours on Friday 5th April 2024.
The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police
constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory
undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
STIVICHALL AND CHEYLESMORE BY-PASS
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order
would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering
or proceeding on that part of Stivichall and Cheylesmore By-Pass south
bound slip road from is Junction with London Road A4082 (Whitley Island)
onto the A444.
The Order would come into effect at 00.01 hours on Monday 25th March
2024 and is required to facilitate the safe installation of traffic management
for survey and investigation works by National Highways.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the
said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the
works would be completed by 26th March 2024.
Diversion routes would be sign posted where appropriate and access to
premises maintained wherever possible except when works is directly in
front of a property.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police
constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory
undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to
have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said
works;
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the
Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal
of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY/
FOOTPATH CLOSURES
RIVERFORD CROFT FOOTPATH TO HERITAGE COURT,
ABBERTON WAY FOOTPATH TO MOREALL MEADOWS,
COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of which
would be a closure of the lengths of footpath detailed in the Schedule
below (when appropriate signage is in place).
The Order would come into operation at 00.01 hours on Friday 22nd
March 2024, and is required to enable Cadent Gas to carry out mains
replacement works safely. The maximum duration of this Order is six (6)
months but it is expected that the works would be completed by Tuesday
9th April 2024.
The Order would remain valid for six (6) months.
Alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure would be signed
on site.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
PALMER LANE AND UNRECORDED FOOTPATH
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order
would be to:-
i) prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or
proceeding on Palmer Lane for its entire length; and
ii) close the unrecorded footpath that runs between Palmer Land and the
Burges to pedestrian traffic.
The Order would come into effect at 08:00 hours on Monday 24th March
2024 and is required to facilitate Public Realm upgrade works to be
undertaken safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is six (6) months or until the said
works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works
would be completed by 16.00 hours on Tuesday 24th September 2024.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police
constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory
undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as
amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order
would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering
or proceeding on Hollyfast Road off Junction Coundon Green and
Eversleigh Road.
The Order would come into effect from Monday 25th March 2024 It is
required to tarmac footway and tarmac road for reinforcement scheme,
road closure with 3 way temp lights on Eversleigh Road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the
said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the
works would be completed by Sunday 7th April 2024
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police
constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory
undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to
have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said

(d) local vehicular access to the closed section Hollyfast Road.

VARIOUS FOOTPATHS IN WYKEN
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of which
would be a closure of the lengths of footpath detailed in the Schedule
below (when appropriate signage is in place).
The Order would come into operation at 00.01 hours on 26th March 2024,
and is required to enable an electricity cable overlay scheme to be
completed safely.
Closure times for each footpath will be as signed on site.
The Order would remain valid for six (6) months.
Any alternative route for pedestrians would be signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for: -

proceeding along Bushberry Avenue between its junctions with Falstaff
Road and Wheate Croft.
The Order would come into effect from Monday 25th March 2024 and is
required for water renewal connection works to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the
said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the
works would be completed by Tuesday 9th April 2024.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
VARIOUS ROADS, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as
amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of which would
be to prohibit waiting, loading and unloading, entering or proceeding of
any vehicle on the entire lengths of road specified in The Schedule below
when prescribed signs are displayed. The roads would be closed or
restricted on a number of occasions for the various durations. The Order
would come into effect at 07:00 hours on Friday 22nd March 2024 and is
required for carriageway resurfacing, repairs and associated works to be
undertaken safely.
Diversion routes would be sign posted where appropriate and access to
premises maintained wherever possible except when works is directly in
front of a property. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction
imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the
Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months or until the said works
are completed, whichever is earlier. It is envisaged that the works would
be completed by 31st March 2025.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of said works;
(b) emergency service vehicles;
(c) any persons requiring reasonable vehicular access or egress to
properties on the closed section of road.
