What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED) PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 27 (PART) ARMITAGE WITH HANDSACRE PARISH TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the section of Public Footpath No. 27 Armitage with Hands acre Parish from its junction with Rectory Lane for approximately 128 metres in a south easterly direction to its junction with Running Hills

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to essential Cadent Gas maintenance works required to replace gas mains. No alternative route is available.

A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of public footpath to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order will come into operation on 1/4/24 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended forafurther period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

(NETHERSTOWE LANE, LICHFIELD) (30 AND 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20**

Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to impose a 30 and 40 mph speed limit on Netherstowe Ln, Lichfield. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Pl, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Lichfield Library, The Guild of St Mary’s Centre, Market Square, Lichfield or at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/ trafficregulationorders. Objections or representations should be sent in writing to: Strategic Asset and Network Management, Highways, 2 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH or to: trafficregulationorderobjections@staffordshire.gov.uk not later than 5/4/24 quoting reference HoCPS/TM/TR45/23 and stating the grounds on which they are made.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTIONS

A5190 Lichfield Rd and Peter’s Ln, Burntwood. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which isto impose a 30mph speed restriction along A5190 Lichfield Rd, Burntwood and a 20mph speed restriction along Peter’s Ln, Burntwood. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=137893751. The Order will come into operation on 29/3/24. It is anticipated the restrictions will remain in place up until 31/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the works, which it is proposed to carry out near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier
