DERBY CITY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON SIDDALS ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 22 March 2024 to 12 April 2024 (21:00 to 07:00 Only) 
WHERE: Siddals Road, at its junction with Station Approach and Railway Terrace REASON: Construction works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Railway Terrace – Midland Road – London Road – Canal Street – Siddals Road and the same in the opposite direction. And Siddals Road – Station Approach – The Cock Pitt – Traffic Street – London Road. And London Road – Traffic Street. And Station Approach – The Cock Pitt – Traffic Street – London Road. (Access to Leeds Place maintained by Traffic Marshals at both closure points)

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON STENSON ROAD (RAILWAY BRIDGE), DERBY
WHEN: 11 April 2024 to 12 April 2024 (09:30 to 15:30 Only) 
WHERE: Stenson Road, from its Junction with Nicola Gardens to its junction with Grampian Way REASON: Resurfacing works 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Stenson Road – Kenilworth Avenue (A5111) – Newdigate Street (A5111) – Sinfin Lane – Grampian Way and the same in the opposite direction

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON EDEN ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 8 April 2024 to 10 May 2024 WHERE: Eden Road, from its junction with Nottingham Road and Derby Road to its junctions with Nottingham Road and Derby Road service roads. Access to each service road will be maintained from Eden Road for residents only at all times. REASON: Highway works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Eden Road – Albert Road – Meadow Lane – Nottingham Road and the same in the opposite direction 

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON WESTERN PARK AVENUE, DERBY
WHEN: 2 April 2024 to 10 April 2024 (08:00 to 15:30 Only) WHERE: Western Park Avenue, from its junction with Brightwater Close to its junction with Chellaston Road REASON: Carriageway resurfacing works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Chellaston Road – Carlton Avenue – Carlton Drive and the same in the opposite direction

TEMPORARY PARKING BAY SUSPENSION ORDER ON OSMASTON ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 8 April 2024 to 10 April 2024 WHERE: Osmaston Road, from outside number 828 to outside number 814 – a distance of approximately 43 metres REASON: Drainage works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON NIGHTINGALE ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 2 April 2024 to 14 April 2024 WHERE: Nightingale Road, from its junction with Hawthorn Street to its junction with Mowbray Street. A distance of approximately 110 metres. REASON: Section 278 development works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Nightingale Road – Osmaston Road – Mitre (Spider) Island – Osmaston Park Road – Nightingale Road and the same in the opposite direction. 

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON WILMINGTON AVENUE, DERBY
WHEN: 22 April 2024 - 24 April 2024 (08:00 to 16:30 Only) WHERE: Wilmington Avenue, from its junction with Field Lane to outside no 1. 
A distance of approximately 40 metres. REASON: Telecommunications works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Field Lane – Wilmington Avenue and the same in the opposite direction.
