PUBLIC NOTICE 

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (CHURCH STREET BILSTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Church Street between its junction with Walsall Street and its junction with High Street. Access/egress to frontages to be maintained. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 on 26 March 2024, and again on 27 March 2024. The Order is required to facilitate remedial reinstatement works by Severn Trent Water.
