PUBLIC NOTICE 

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (AMOS LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Amos Lane in both directions between its junctions with Cedar Way/ Bellamy Lane and its junction with Woden Avenue. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 25 March 2024 until 5 April 2024. The diversion route is: Wood End Road, Lower Prestwood Road and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works by Cadent Gas.
