What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
(COUSIN LANE, OVENDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by West End Joiners & Builders Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrians to proceed in the length of Cousin Lane footway from opposite No.24 to opposite Moorlands Avenue for a distance of approximately 68 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is opposite side of carriageway. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 18th March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may completed sooner and the road re-opened on 18th April 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(DUNKIRK LANE, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dunkirk Lane from its junction with Stanley Road and Dunkirk Terrace for a distance of approximately 18.53 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Stanley Road, Parkinson Lane, Dunkirk Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 18th March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th March 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(GIBBET STREET, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Gibbet Street from its junction with Allerton Road and Lightowler Road for a distance of approximately 28 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Gibbet Street, Victoria Road, Hanson Lane, Lightowler Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 20th March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 20th March 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 23:00.

(SEDBURGH ROAD, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Blade Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sedburgh Road from outside wkwprecision Engineering to junction with Gaukroger Lane for a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Shaw Hill Lane, Shaw Hill, Gaukroger Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st March 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 10:00 & 15:00.

(BREARLEY LANE, MYTHOLMROYD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Brearley Lane from No. 10 to No. 16 for a distance of approximately 38 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22nd March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 22nd March 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 13:30.

(HAIGH LANE, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Core Highways intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Haigh Lane from its junction with Farrar Mill Lane to Westbourne Terrace for a distance of approximately 189 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Farrar Mill Lane, Crossley Hill, A629 and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st April 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 4th April 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 23:00 & 07:00.

(BACK CAMBRIDGE STREET, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Cambridge Street from its junction with Hey Street to rear of 85 Halifax Road for a distance of approximately 11 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd April 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th April 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BROW BOTTOM LANE, MIXENDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Jet Aire Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle or pedestrian to proceed in the length of Brow Bottom Lane from its junction with Clough Lane for a distance of approximately 42 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route for vehicles follow diversion on site. For alternative route for pedestrians follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd April 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th April 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(MIDGLEY ROAD, MYTHOLMROYD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Midgley Road from its junction with Zion Terrace to opposite Recreation Ground for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Towngate, Jim Allen Lane, Solomon Hill, New Road, Luddenden Lane, A646 Burnley Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd April 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th April 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SMITHY LANE, COLDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Smithy Lane from Higher Smithy to junction with New Shaw Lane for a distance of approximately 500 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th April 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th April 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 16:00.

(CROSSLEY HILL, SALTERHEBBLE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Beacon TM Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Crossley Hill from its junction with Doncaster Street to junction with Huddersfield Road for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Doncaster Street, Huddersfield Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 6th April 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th April 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 22:00 & 06:00.
