Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
THANET AREA
A28 Canterbury Road, Margate (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A28 Canterbury Road, Margate, on or after 8th April 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
A28 Canterbury Road will have a temporary right turn prohibition imposed, turning onto Westbrook Avenue. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via St Mildreds Road, Westgate Bay Avenue, Westbrook Avenue, Rancorn Road, A28 Canterbury Road and vice versa.
A254 Ramsgate Road, Margate, CT9 1LG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A254 Ramsgate Road, Margate, on or after 27th March 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with A254 Queens Avenue, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A254 Ramsgate Road, B2052 College Road, A255 St Peters Road and A255 Ramsgate Road.
Alexandra Road, Broadstairs, CT10 1NE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Alexandra Road, Broadstairs, on or after 9th April 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 16. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents whenever it is safe to do so.
Cavendish Street, Ramsgate, CT11 9SA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cavendish Street, Ramsgate, on or after 8th April 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 26. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents whenever it is safe to do so.
Foads Hill, Ramsgate, CT12 5EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Foads Hill, Ramsgate, on or after 8th April 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 51. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Foads Hill, Canterbury Road West, Sea View Road, Clive Road and vice versa.
Spratling Lane, Ramsgate, CT12 5LN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Spratling Lane, Ramsgate, on or after 8th April 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A256 Haine Road and Spratling Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Spratling Lane, A256 Haine Road, Spratling Street and vice versa.
St Lukes Avenue, Ramsgate, CT11 7DR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow sewer works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of St Lukes Avenue, Ramsgate, on or after 25th March 2024 for up to 14 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from number 12 to the junction with Denmark Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Denmark Road, A255 Boundary Road, Hardres Road and vice versa.
Trinity Place, Ramsgate, CT11 7DR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Trinity Place, Ramsgate, on or after 9th April 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 28. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents whenever it is safe to do so.
Upper Grove, Margate, CT9 9JY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Upper Grove, Margate, on or after 9th April 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 17. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents whenever it is safe to do so.
Wilfred Road, Ramsgate, CT11 0QG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wilfred Road, Ramsgate, on or after 8th April 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 2. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A255 Park Road, Shah Place, Station Approach Road, Wilfred Road and vice versa.
