Braziers Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Due To Patching Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(BRAZIERS LANE, ASCOT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along: a) Braziers Lane, Ascot between B3034 Forest Road and A330 Pigeonhouse Lane.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via A330 Church Road, A330 Maidens Green, Bracknell Road, B3017 Winkfield Row, B3034 Forest Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out carriageway essential patching works. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 27th March 2024, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place from 27th March - 28th March 2024 between the hours of 09:30-15:30
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
