Heanor Road - Temporary Road Closure For Carriageway Surface Dressing & Associated Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE HEANOR ROAD, SMALLEY
WHEN: 01 April to 30 September 2024 (for no more than 10 individual days)
WHERE: Heanor Road, Smalley between its Jct. with Heanorgate Road and its Jct. with Kerry Drive.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway surface dressing and associated works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A608 Heanor Road, Derby Road, Market Street, A6007 Ilkeston Road, Hardy Barn, Hassock Lane North, Hassock Lane, Hassock Lane South, Heanor Road, Chalons Way, A609 Derby Road, High Lane East, High Lane Central, High Lane West, Belper Road, A608 Main Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
