C59 EASINGTON GRANGE JUNCTION
TO DETCHANT PARK JUNCTION BELFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C59 Easington Grange Junction To Detchant Park Junction Belford from 495 metres east of its junction with the A1, continuing west for a distance of 40 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 19th March 2024 until the 20th March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 19th March 2024 until the 20th March 2024 between the hours of 23:20 until 05:30 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A1, C60, C59 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management on behalf of Network Rail to lift out the level crossing to allow tamper to work through.
