ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CHURCH BROW, FOUNDRY LANE, HALTON ROAD AND LOW ROAD, HALTON, LANCASTER CITY) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 06 March 2024 Lancashire County Council made the above Speed Limit Order under Section 84 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit in the following lengths of road:
a) Church Brow, Halton, from its junction with Foundry Lane to its junction with Halton Road;
b) Foundry Lane, Halton, from its roundabout junction with Church Brow for a distance of 17 metres in an north westerly direction;
c) Halton Road, Halton, from its junction with Church Brow for a distance of 208 metres in an westerly direction;
d) Low Road, Halton, from its roundabout junction with Church Brow for a distance of 16 metres in an easterly direction.
This Order will come into force on the 18 March 2024. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Lancaster City Council, Town Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster, LA1 1PJ, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-and-travel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanent.aspx, quoting ref: LSG4/894. 16172/AFR.
