(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in Rothbury in the County of Northumberland:
B6341 High Street from outside the front of Rothbury Fish and Chips Shop heading in a westerly direction for a length of 27 metres.
U4077 Prospect Terrace from its point with the B6341 continuing in a westerly direction for a length of 34 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th March 2024 until the 22nd March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 20th March 2024 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:30, however, the order will remain in place until 22nd March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the High Street, Prospect Terrace and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by USL on behalf of Openreach to replace a telegraph pole. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
