THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BELPER ROAD AND COMMON LANE, STANLEY
COMMON) (NO WAITING AT ANY TIME AND POLICE ONLY PARKING BAY)
TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be, in respects of roads in Stanley Common, Erewash is as follows:
TO PROHIBIT WAITING AT ANY TIME BY VEHICLES (EXCEPT THOSE DELIVERING OR COLLECTING GOODS OR LOADING AND UNLOADING):
Belper Road, Stanley Common
South-west side
From its junction with Common Lane in a north-westerly direction, for a distance of 15 metres.
From its junction with Common Lane in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 30 metres.
Common Lane, Stanley Common
South-east side
From its junction with The Crescent in a south-westerly direction, for a distance of 26 metres.
From its junction with Belper Road in a south-westerly direction, for a distance of 25 metres.
From a point opposite a point 15 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of Hayes Wood Road in a south-westerly direction, for a distance of 35 metres.
North-west side
From its junction with Belper Road in a southerly direction, to its junction with Hayes Wood Road.
From its junction with Hayes Wood Road in a south-westerly direction, to its junction with Naggle Gate Close.
From its junction with Naggle Gate Close in a southerly direction, for a distance of 8.5 metres.

From its junction with Common Lane in a north-westerly direction, for a distance of 15 metres.
South-west side
From its junction with Common Lane in a north-westerly direction, for a distance of 15 metres.
Naggle Gate Close
North-east side
From its junction with Common Lane in a north-westerly direction, for a distance of 10 metres.
South-west side
From its junction with Common Lane in a north-westerly direction, for a distance of 10 metres.
The Crescent, Stanley Common
North-east side
From its junction with Common Lane in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 10 metres.
South-east side
From its junction with The Crescent in a north-westerly direction, for a distance of 10 metres.
From its junction with Common Lane in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 10 metres.
Exemptions will be made for vehicles used in connection with any building operation or demolition; removal of any obstruction to traffic; carrying out of statutory powers or as part of a funeral or wedding cortege. The usual exemptions for disabled persons’ vehicles displaying a valid disabled person’s badge will also apply.
TO DESIGNATE POLICE VEHICLES ONLY PARKING PLACE:
Belper Road, Stanley Common
South-west side
From a point 30 metres south-east of its junction with Common Lane in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 9 metres.Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, will be revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock during opening hours and on request by emailing place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made and at Belper Library, Derwent Street, Belper, Derbyshire, DE56 1UQ during opening hours.
All objections and other representations to the proposal must (a) be made in writing (b) state the grounds on which they are made (c) provide a name and address for contact purposes (d) be sent to the Executive Director – Place, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock DE4 3AG (For Attention of Traffic and Safety Team quoting reference Z3354) or email place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk by Friday 5th April 2024.
