THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(CRESWELL AND WHITWELL) (VARIOUS STREETS) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that; on 7th March 2024 the Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act1984.The Order will come into operation on 18th March 2024 and its effect is:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
Bakestone Moor, Whitwell
South-east Side
From a point 15.5 metres north-east of its junction with New Street, to a point 8 metres south-west of that junction.
New Street, Whitwell
North Side
From its junction with Bakestone Moor for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction.
South Side
From its junction with Bakestone Moor for a distance of 19 metres in an easterly direction.
Skinner Street, Creswell
South-west Side
From a point 13 metres south-east of its junction with Eyre Street, to a point 18 metres north-west of that junction.
Eyre Street, Creswell
Both Sides
From its junction with Skinner Street for a distance of 12 metres in a south-westerly direction.
Duke Street, Creswell
North-east Side
From a point 88 metres south-east of its junction with Elmton Road, for a distance of 29 metres in a south-easterly direction.

Exemptions will be made for vehicles used in connection with any building operation or demolition; removal of any obstruction to traffic; carrying out of statutory powers or duties taking in petrol etc, from any garage situated within the lengths of road; or as part of a funeral or wedding cortege. The usual exemptions for disabled persons’ vehicles will also apply.A copy of the Order with its associated documents, giving more detailed particulars of the Order, is available for inspection until 18 th April 2024 at the offices of the Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock, Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm, and also at Whitwell Library, Portland Street, S80 4NN and at Creswell Library, Elmton Road, S80 4EY. Alternatively, a copy may be requested by emailing Place.PermanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 7th March 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
