Various Roads, High Peak - Temporary Road Closure

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
VARIOUS ROADS, HIGH PEAK

WHEN: 01 April to 30 September 2024
(For a period of no more than 10 separate days for each individual road listed)
WHERE:
Green Lane, Hadfield, Glossop.
Arundel Street, Glossop.
Longlands Road, New Mills.
REASON: To facilitate surface dressing and associated works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Appropriate diversion routes will be signed accordingly.
Notice Boards informing of the actual closure dates will be in place on site 1 week in advance.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
