U112 MOUNT ROAD TWEEDMOUTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U112 Mount Road Tweedmouth from its junction with Well Road heading in a northerly direction for a length of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th April 2024 until the 22nd April 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 8th April 2024 between the hours of 09:00 until 15:00 however, the order will remain in place until 22nd April 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Mount Road, Main Street, Church Road, Well Square, Tower Road and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to excavate to repair two manholes and reinstate. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
