(Thomliebank Road.Thomliebank) Temporary Restriction To Use Of Road Order 2024

On the 26 February 2024 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984.The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Thornliebank Road,Thornliebank, from its junction with Boydstone Road generally north-eastwards for a distance of approximately 75 metres, in order to facilitate the safe demolition and replacement of Thornliebank Station Rail Bridge scheduled to be carried from Tuesday 2nd April 2024 untilThursday 12th June 2025.

Alternative Route: Thornliebank Road -Nether Auldhouse Road - Kilmarnock Road - Fenwick Road - Rouken Glen  Road - Spiersbridge Road - Main Street -Thornliebank Road and vice versa.
