What is happening?

BRIGHTON & HOVE CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council ("the Council") proposes to make the Orders named below under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which if they come into force will introduce various changes to the waiting or parking restrictions in the part or parts of the roads identified:

BRIGHTON & HOVE OUTER AREAS (WAITING, LOADING AND PARKING) AND CYCLE LANES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2018 AMENDMENT ORDER NO.* 202* (REF: TRO-7-2024)

• Chichester Drive East, Elm Drive, Fernhurst Close, Greenways, Keymer Road, Northease Close, Ovingdean Road, Park Crescent (Portslade), Saltdean Vale, Stevenson Road, Tongdean Lane & Westfield Avenue - Proposd double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time)

• Steyning Road (Rottingdean) - Readjusting double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) & limited waiting bays

• Victoria Road (Portslade) - Clarifying the descriptions of the double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) on the order (no change on ground)

• Elm Drive & Victoria Road (Portslade) - Proposed limited waiting bays

• Nutley Avenue & Westergate Road - Proposed loading bay

• Barrhill Avenue, Bexhill Road, Brentwood Road, Burstead Close, Carden Hill, Curwen Place, Deacons Drive, Denton Drive, Dudley Road, Egginton Road, Gladstone Road, Golf Drive, Hardwick Road, Hartfield Avenue, Heathfield Drive, Moulsecoomb Way, Nevill Close, North Street (Portslade), Oakdene Avenue, Park Road, Ringmer Drive, Sandhurst Avenue, Southall Avenue, Staplefield Drive, Stonery Close, The Crestway, Whitehawk Crescent, Whitehawk Road, Wickhurst Road & Woburn Place -Proposed disabled parking bays

• 93 Barnett Road, 8 Bolney Road, 43 Gladstone Road, 14 Martin Road, 5 St Michael's Road, 24 Shelldale Crescent, 7 Wilfrid Road -Proposed removal of disabled parking bays

A copy of this Notice, the proposed Orders, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/current-tros.

All objections and other representations relating to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should be sent to the Executive Director Economy, Environment & Culture, Brighton & Hove City Council Parking Design & Implementation, Room G40, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road Hove, BN3 3BQ quoting the TRO reference number shown above or by e-mail to TROcomment@brighton-hove.gov.uk or online (see details above) no later than 29 March 2024.
