Clipsley Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Due To Sewer Repair Works
What is happening?
ST. HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (as Amended) - SECTION 14(1) THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (CLIPSLEY LANE. HAYDOCK) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St. Helens Borough Council propose not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in either direction along Clipsley Lane at its junction with Wagon Lane , as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.
The Order will come into force on Tuesday 2nd April 2024, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to be one week.
The alternative route will be via A599 Clipsley Lane, A599 Vicarage Road, A58 Stanley Bank Way, A580 East Lancashire Road, A599 Penny Lane, A599 Church Road, A599 Clispsley Lane and vice versa.
The reason for making this Order is to facilitate Sapphire Utilities carrying out sewer repairs.
